FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is an LRC file?

LRC is a simple text format that pairs each lyric line with a timestamp, like [01:23.45]. Music players read these timestamps to highlight each line in sync with the song — the karaoke effect you see in most player apps.

Is Ricsline really free?

Yes — completely free, no account, no watermarks, no limits on how many LRC files you create.

Do you upload my MP3?

No. Your audio file is played directly from your device in your browser and is never sent to any server. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and keep syncing.

Which music players support LRC files?

Most popular players support LRC — just place the .lrc file next to your MP3 with the same file name. Desktop players, Android players, and many car stereos pick it up automatically.

Can I fix the timings of an existing LRC file?

Yes. Paste the full .lrc content into the lyrics box and Ricsline will detect the time tags. Then re-tap lines or shift all timings with the offset tool.

Do I need to create an account?

No. There are no accounts on Ricsline at all — open the maker and start syncing right away.

Ready to sync your first song?

Paste your lyrics, drop your MP3, and tap along. Your first synced LRC is two minutes away.
